CASEBOLT AND SMITH: “close” (world premiere), October 19 @ 8 p.m.
Celebrating their 15th year as a collaborative duo, casebolt and smith bring their trademark humor and accessibility to the Marsee Auditorium with the world premiere of close. A complex weaving of dance, story, video, and music, close untangles casebolt and smith’s pasts to get at a deeper understanding of their present - gesture by gesture, song by song.
VICIOUS CIRCLE DANCE COMPANY: “Chroma”, January 25 @ 8 p.m.
Inspired by Vicious Circle’s current repertoire, Chromotherapy Club Meeting, Artistic Director and choreographer Valerie Cabag has adapted this piece into a full-length show. Chroma explores the use of chromotherapy (color therapy) and the effects that color has on the body.
2°B DANCE COMPANY: “Call Me 'Ella”, March 21 @ 8 p.m.
Two worlds collide when a no-nonsense private investigator is hired to find a missing person following the Enchanted Empire’s annual Masquerade Ball. With a glass slipper as his only clue, what surprises will he uncover? Call Me 'Ella is an evening of noir and fantasy explored through exciting, physical, and, at times, humorous dance theater. Artistic direction by Jonathan Bryant and Hyosun Choi.
