The Mona Lisa Is Missing | Joe & Justine Medeiros
January 27 @ 3 p.m. | Tickets $14/$12 | Marsee Auditorium
Did you know the famous Mona
Lisa once was stolen, and was missing for 2 1/2 years? Most people don't know about the painting’s
1911 theft from the Louvre or about the immigrant Italian workman who took
Leonardo’s masterpiece and kept it hidden in his tiny room in Paris. Mona is
Missing is the fascinating, funny, and touching story of an unlikely thief
and his 84-year-old modern day daughter living in Italy who wanted to know the
truth about the father she never knew.
Written and directed by the former head writer of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno who had been obsessed with telling
this story for 35 years.
