Resolved: Is a four-year college degree still a prerequisite for success?

Can one achieve a fulfilling and happy life through attaining a college diploma? Since the end of World War II, the bachelor’s degree has been the gold standard for employers to measure if someone was worthy of employment. However, with the drastic increases in the cost of higher education, the student loan crisis affecting more and more students, and the changes in the job market with the advancement in science and technology, is the four-year degree still worth it? Join us for a provocative debate between teachers and students as we examine these pressing issues.
